Hotel Astoria

We stayed here for 4 nights and we really enjoyed our choice. The location was INCREDIBLE, not too far from an university library. The buffet breakfast was enjoyable and varied, variety of options.

Enjoyed my quite comfortable stay as a nice luxury hotel.

Facilities were modern, nevertheless Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

It was good choice for travelling to Coimbra, I was glad to stay there. Its location was very central, walking distance to Largo da Portagem.

The room I booked was quite cold!

Loved our stay, had great 5 days overall. The continental breakfast was satisfactory, had pastries, fruit and meats.

Handy location, reasonably spacious property, very comfy beds. Splendid room with large bathroom and delicious breakfast.

A well-maintained hotel, my first choice in Coimbra. I loved good location and rooms. The breakfast had variety of fruit, cereals and pastries. The room was airy, with single beds.

Peaceful location, good sized bed, so supportive staff. We were in a hurry and missed the buffet breakfast. We truly enjoyed a contemporary decor and contemporary furniture. Simple check-in and good service. Soft great cocktails, coffee and wines in the lounge bar, free parking place.

Phenomenal stuff and a free breakfast including lots of pancakes, pastries, jam, fruit and hardboiled eggs. Fascinating view, a cosy balcony, exceptionally comfortable bed, too.

Thank you very much for a fine stay, would like to stay longer. The staff are helpful, hotel is fancy, breakfast is bountiful. Airy room and helpful communication with the staff.

Perfect location, very large restaurant, welcoming staff and modern decor. Fine food, pastries, coffee, slices of fresh bread, eggs and hot waffles. Outstanding service throughout too. Besides, I enjoyed being able to park on site👌👍

Superb breakfast with lots of options, nicely decorated and spotless place. Room was normal double and rather big, bed was great.

We enjoyed this serene place and its practical location. Btw, went to city centre, located at a short distance from the hotel.

The check-in was easy, we liked poolside bar. The thorough staff made our experience magnificent. Breakfast was big, included coffee, pastries, butter, hot waffles and fruit. The beach was stunning. Top class facilities and the pool was clean.

nice bed in guest room with air conditioning, wi-fi and terrace. very nice good location just a short walk away from a rare surviving reconquista-era church. we were offered a marvellous service here.

Loved the elegant atmosphere and the breakfast was abundant. All in all everything was first-class, however we had horrible bathroom. The bar was large with customer-focused staff. Central location, at walking distance from Palacio Real de Coimbra. Nice design, thoughtful service in the entire hotel.

The river view was wonderful. Very GOOD location a couple of blocks away city center. Great nearby places include Fangas, we usually had drinks there.

Nice place for exploring Coimbra. We were in a hurry and didn't visit the lounge restaurant, but it seemed good. The staff was loyal at all times. Fab views from the window...

Right by university of coimbra, 5 minutes' walk to Coimbra-A train station. View of the river. Don' t forget to visit portugal dos pequenitos, that is 15 minutes' walk away. Within a walking distance of Ze Manel dos Ossos, where you can have lunch;))
